Arthur Howe Obituary

Arthur J. Howe, 89, of Church Street, Larksville, passed away Monday December 26, 2022, in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. Born October 6,1933 in Wilkes-Barre, Art was the son of the late James and Myrtle Gruver Howe. Moving to West Chester, he attended local schools. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.  Returning to Wyoming Valley, Art was employed by Tobyhanna Army Depot, Monroe County. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Kingston. Art enjoyed vacationing in Cape Coral, Florida, with his wife Andrea. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Surviving is his wife, the former Andrea J. Tomasak, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage; his children; Arthur J. Howe, Jr, Wyoming; Karen Howe, Shavertown; and Brian Howe, Dallas; grandchildren; Matthew, Jessica, Sarah, Heather and Arthur J. III; Great-grandchildren; Billy and Emma. Funeral services for Arthur will be private for the Howe family, with interment in Forty-Fort, Cemetery. Memorial donations in Art’s name may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation 2361 Hylan Blvd. Staten Island, New York 10306. Arrangements are by Hugh P.
