Phyllis A. Kearns

Phyllis A. Kearns, of Kingston, passed away peacefully Sunday January 16,2022 at home with her family by her side. Born March 11,1945, in the Village of Mineola, Long Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Maciuska Zgutowicz. Phyllis was a graduate of Mineola High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a children’s clothes designer for Little Ones, Mineola. Phyllis was a member of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Mineola. She was an avid fan of the New York Rangers hockey team. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister; Katherine Celia. Surviving is her husband; George F. Kearns; daughters; Stephanie Cintron, Wilmington, Delaware; Jessica Sachs (Thomas), Kingston; grandchildren; Brandon Citron, Thomas John Sachs, Justine Sachs, Jeremiah Culver, Tyler Sachs, Jayce Sachs, and Jordan Sachs; Sister; Edwina Zgutowicz, Holbrook, New York; nephew; Christopher Celia, and several cousins. Visitation for Phyllis will be held Friday, January 21,2022 from 4 :00 to 7:00 PM at the Hugh P. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, Inc .416 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston. Funeral and internment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
